Torchwood Miracle Day Episode 7

1. I was starting to get worried that this show wasn't going to deliver - but holy shit did this episode redeem itself.

2. The payoff in the last two minutes of this episode was awesome!

3. I cannot believe that a show is airing in America with this much explicit gay sex.

4. Speaking of which, all the fandoms say Jack is bisexual - but there has been zero evidence of him having any interest in women.

5. I want Welsh Girl to have her own show.

6. "You are Welsh, you wouldn't notice if words lacked vowels," made me LOL.

7. I've never seen Dr. Who - is there any plot significance to what he was saying about "The Doctor" or was that just an Easter egg?

Yelp Gone Wild

So, a bridal shop in New Jersey refused to sell a wedding dress to a woman who is planning to marry another woman.

The store owner's reason is that she thinks that women just date other women because they get tired of men being douchebags:

"Saber railed about women who would "experiment" with female relationships because "men can be difficult."

The woman also does seem to be somewhat insane in that she rants about Navy Seals and that selling wedding dresses to women who are not going marry a man is "illegal" and that if she sold the dress to her that she'd be a co-conspirator to a crime.

Anyway this has led to an all our flame war on Yelp between gay rights activists and libertarians who think that stores should be allowed to refuse to sell to anyone they want to and plain old homophobes.

Pro Bowler

Every Friday night in summer in Montpellier they hold a wine and tapas festival in the main public park.

I don't go because I'm allergic to the tannins in most wine and they don't sell anything other than wine and being surrounded by booze I can't drink on a Friday night is my version of hell.

But, Rome Girl goes every weekend with her girlfriends. The deal is that they only have a certain number of tables for people to sit at and the girls don't want to have to wander around the entire time so they send one of them out early each week to secure seats for all of them.

Anyway, when Rome Girl arrived last night this is how they had saved her seat:
