From The Freelance Job Boards

I know this job is perfect for someone out there:

Project Description:

I have thirty-four essays written by 11th grade Advanced Placement students in need of editing and comments. Most papers are 750-850 words (some are more, some are less; only one is over 1000), and all are in Microsoft Word format.

You will, of course, need to be familiar with The Great Gatsby. I would like my students to have the benefit of an outside opinion on their writing. The editing they need tends to be for content and evidence needed, rather than grammar. However, a few are in need of ideas for organization.

Your job will be to receive the essays, use Microsoft Word's Track Changes feature to edit and comment on their essays, and to give me a good idea (through commentary or through a number system) of how each student responded to the prompt.

You Only Live Twice

BORDEAUX, France (Reuters) - The mayor of a village in southwest France has threatened residents with severe punishment if they die, because there is no room left in the overcrowded cemetery to bury them.

In an ordinance posted in the council offices, Mayor Gerard Lalanne told the 260 residents of the village of Sarpourenx that "all persons not having a plot in the cemetery and wishing to be buried in Sarpourenx are forbidden from dying in the parish."

It added: "Offenders will be severely punished."
