In 1987 when they played The Ritz people bitched "It's not really Guns N Roses because Traci Guns isn't in the band anymore!"
When I saw them in 1991 people bitched "It's not really Guns N Roses because Izzy left the band and where the fuck is Steve Adler? Who is this fucking Matt Sorum dude?"
Bottom line, nobody but a few hundred people at dive clubs in L.A. in 1986 has ever seen the "real" Guns N Roses.
